Now, it says clio II and megane etc. and I assume this is something to do with the handbrake mechanism lever as it looks different. Dunno if the 19's cable would interface with it.

If not, I have no doubt you could swap the lever over from a 19 caliper.

See if I can work out, why the meg's have a bit better handbrake. Well mine as.

OK well looks like the 19 handbrake cable will fit.

Looks like the lever arm is a bit longer though so I dunno how that would affect things. Would explain the handbrake being better on the megane though if it is in fact better like you say.

The set that you see on ebay. I got sent a set like that last year for the black hatch, and that was by far the best handbrake I'v felt on a R19, now is that down to the caliper' or just due to it been stood for a while, still if the meg set-up fit. I gave a set away ermm now long ago.

I'm sure I've still got one somewhere. not sure tho. Just pulled a R19 one from overhead stock cuboard.

As for the megane handbrake been better, is that down to the caliper, or just that the two coupe we had/got, just have a set of good caliper's on them . ?
