no mate, sorry, its a different engine in a different car. my old clio 1.8 16v (standard) did the same to me, but that was after a boiling over incident.
this one i've now been told could be due to the way i've been driving it, running on boost, particularly full boost, could cause it to run lean and associated high temps due to lack of fuel could be causing detenation?sound right? |

it was remapped when the side exit was added, maybe they ballsed it up, will have it mapped again once rebuilt
cant afford low comp internals, and yes its std as is the h/g i blew lasted 4 years and 10,000 miles. oops!lol no extra cooling for general o/e cooling system, aux water pump is a standard on clio 16v and should run when the fan does but only when ignition is off i believe, in pics main radiator is removed, the top radiator is for the charge cooler and it has its own water cooled system including water pump (electric) and header tank, and the smaller bottom one is the mocal oil cooler radiator |

My Engine is running 9:1 on 600mbar. And the factory headgasket is working just fine. I can help you to get Modified pistons. 9:1 for a low price. See image below and buy an wideband lambda with AFR gauge. Max Engine Load: 11:1 till 11,5:1 No boost,Idle : 14:1 Light Boost: 13:1 if you have factory injectors instead of the 21Turbo ones, 500mbar is the max, With factory injectors the mixture leans out in higher revs. ![]() Greetz, From The Netherlands |
