Project Y engine option 2
Project Y engine option 2
Project Y's second option bigger engine

Introduction

So the GTT conversion was abandoned as I now had a phase 3 Clio RSI engine. This engine I got in exchange for doing work on u33db's (Dougal) Clio 1.2. The engine was originally going into his 1.2 but plans changed.

Now Dougal told me the boy that sold the engine to him, called clio_mk1 (real name Ryan) that the engine was minter than mint, 80 odd k mile son it and perfect in everyway.

He is a liar, he also said he has proof the engien was running mint, the whole world (well all the renault forums) are still waiting to see this proof. He has not shown any as hes a lying reprobate.

The engine was apparently removed by profesional mechanics. Monkeys or below average intelligence gerbils maybe, but no human without severe mental retardation could have chopped the loom like these people did.

Anyway it was after I got the engine that all this was realised.

Engine and parts as it came

Just to prove it is an RSI, MPI

The next day I had a good look through the parts that came with it.

Parts included, fuel pump, starter, ps pump which is knackered, alternator, downpipe and coil

I then cleaned up a few of the brackets, this is the alt and PS pump support bracket, you can see them in the above pic before being washed

gearbox mounts
