Looking at this carbon bike in Renault when I went to get a reverse light switch.
http://www.renault-sport.com/fr/gamm...urse/index.php It looks very stiff, its got little ridges in the carbon on the down tube top tube and seat tube. Fairly straight seat stays. The thing about carbon fiber is they can build in siffness or flex in diffrent directions. I have a hand made steel race bike which is now 20 years old. Made for me in Nice. Now its way to stiff, the more power you pedal with the more it goes, but when you slow down its like a RSJ. http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkM...keTab=techspec This bike I can put 150 to 200 Km on in a ride. Wheels are crap, so I now have upgraded to Mavic Krysrium Elites http://www.mavic.com/ewb_pages/p/pro...hp?gamme=route Now have a good functional road bike with performance an comfort. (You still have to pedal the thing though Last edited by R1916S; 22nd October 2006 at 07:23 PM. |
