Cheers David, must admit it's quite exciting the thought of building one and taking it out for a spin!

the more and more i see other peoples projects it makes me want to get my own project up and going, im thinking mk3 escort converted to rear wheel drive with cossie box and dif etc and a decent tuned 19 16v engine to run it, hardest thing would be a bell housing to mate the engine and box together. my friend has a mk3 escort rwd with a vauxhall chavalier gsi engine under the bonnet.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

yours looks wicked mate good luck to you and your dad

My mate's dad had a pucker Austin 7 for years, fully working. But its gone now. He did have a garage full of bits to build about 4 complete original engines...might still have the bits.

Well I think we've pretty much got all the mechanical bits JB but if you can ask him what he still has knocking about (if anything) then it would be appreciated!
