r19 decisions made
and my cabby having clutch slip+feeling old and tired around the edgdes i came close to selling up and buying newer cars i got a firm offer of £800 on the chammy, but when the wife and i decided we couldnt sell it a decision was made to keep both cars and i was to do the work,DOH i picked up a donor for both cars a 78k mileage 16v exec cabby,i am not keeping as 1,its a ph2, 2,its green, 3,the inner+outer sills were advised on the last mot with a £300 bill to get it through, and the chassis has been diy undersealed i had my 56k ph2 chammy written off at an mot bay due to chassis rot, never again, my cab has just flown through its mot, with only advisory being worn front discs it will basically donate everything other than its panels to my ph1 and all componants needed to sort the wifes chammy, then le chammy is going into the paint shop, quoted £225 to sort a few niggles so there you go fully commited to 2 19yr old french cars,my project threads should soon reflect this

Great news, as baz said we have all been through the dark side of r19 ownership some of us give up and some of us soldier on, you are amongst the soldiers! Also if any of your roofs for the cabbys are being got rid of and are decent keep me in mind, i have two cabbys both with ruined roofs... again delighted toi hear you decided to stick it out and best of luck too

the chammy will definately be a show whore,
hopefully painted, but this is all on a tight budget,i am no money man,but dont mind having a go to save a few bob,ive done my own non turbo to turbo engine swap and stripped a few cars but,am still pretty wet behind the ears as long as the cabby is in a running state yes, but i am basically doing a full/bare metal interior swap, roof, engine and box, rear beam(cant lower mine so will bench strip donors and refurb/lower),16" wheels(need diy refurb) then coilovers and paint touch up(all in good time, its like making love to a good woman, take your time, get it right ,)also going to swap petrol tanks from donor to chammy,as the chammys pump whines its tits off
