Up untill a week ago it was quite the tarmac shredder... kona project 2 forks, 1.25 inch slick tyres, weighed less than 10kg. I started doing a bit of downhill now tho so I have it back looking like a tractor again

I'm a bit of a wimp goin down the rough stuff these days, had a bad fall a few years back, fell down a steep embankment, and my head hit a rock at the bottom, just as well I was wearing a helmet, which I hadn't done for about 4 yrs prior, as it split in three directions. Bent an XTR brake lever too grrrrr

Did my first bit of downhill on Saturday, good fun. Came off the bike twice but I knew it was coming both times so they were graceful enough Found the wooded, muddy areas okay but the rocky areas (dried up river I think) were tough going. Looking forward to getting up there again on Sunday.
