Heatproof Stickers For Camcover

Has anyone ever made any stickers for their cam cover?

I'm just wondering if this is something you could with a good home printer or if they'd burst into flames?

Would the RR vinyl stickers be ok to use given the heat?

Lightbulb

After a hard drive, I measured the surface temperature of the rocker cover - 88 degrees all over.

Tried a few other things, the exhaust manifold was off the scale but the heatshield behind read 268 degrees!

I couldn't see any ratings on the device, I'll try and find out tomorrow. The highest reading I got was the 268 you see, the manifold itself read ---

on a hard drive the inlet will be cool to touch.

My chammy was doing erm, nearly double the national limit and the inlet manifold was stone cold.

inlet was like 40 but that's never gonna get hot, it's got a lot of surface area, cool air flowing all over it and it's insulated from the head by a gasket
