Well that was rather entertaining, but, that is just two of those "expeditions" I've watched, and both had continuity issues.

In this one, sometimes there was what appeared to be a red glass break hammer located by the interior light, and sometimes it wasn't there.

In the Alabama "expedition" they fitted a BBQ to the back of a truck (the one Hammond was driving), yet whilst driving up a lane after it was fitted it was gone then it re-appeared when they got to the field they were heading for.
im pretty sure loads was cut out

do you really think they'd let them loose on frozen sea without actually making sure it was safe?

good entertainment tho, and stunning scenery

rather be cold then hot

they explain some of the 'continuity' issues on the top gear website.

The trio of Clarkson, Hammond and May do do a lot of the driving but a lot is also filmed in between them driving so that the camera crews can set up on the roadside to film the cars going past etc so some parts of the road are filmed twice, the film crew get a lot of the 'beauty' shots by taking the cars out themselves and filming them, the Veryon for example that Clarkson drove, did the journey twice so that the crew could get a lot of the exterior car passing them by shots.

Also a lot of the cars shown in the TG studio are not the ones test driven by the team, the ones in the studio are 'show cars' all perfectly clean and shiney etc

I'm refering to interior shots with Clarkson and May in the car, supposedly part of a continuous drive.

The same with the BBQ on Hammond's truck, they set off up a road and it was on, then they showed the rear a few moments later and it wasn't, then, suddenly, it was there again.
