Most Horrid Job you've Had To Do On A Car?

Ok my skills are very basic but the jobs i would never like to do are:

Changing the exhaust manifold on the mini... That was horrid because it was a combination of seized bolts and no space, so ended up with the usual cut knuckles etc.

The clutch pedal on the clio... That sucked because there was no space and the bushes and springs were giving me grief.. again cut hands etc.

Anything that involves tight spaces and rusty bolts tend to annoy me though.

So what's the job you would never like to do again!

replacing the power steering pipe on the valver, the rack decided to strip its threads on removal of the transfer pipes so i ended up having to take the whole fecking rack off to re-tap it. hours job turned into about 7 hours by the time i'd finished!

Old turbo manifold on the purple 19.

Every bolt was turn it 1/8 a turn with the open end of a spanner, flip the spanner, go 1.8 a turn.

So easy but just so frustrating!

the problem is some boxes are fine, go in then at the end a slight turn with your pinky and the threads gone!

Small turns on nuts and bolts it's what's made getting the Energy lump, brakes and suspension such a bind.

The suspension ones were the worst, the ones on the manifolds were a pain but can't factor those ones in since it was a job I didn't actually have to do.

Not really done an awful lot tbh, but on the 19 i'd say its close between changing ball joints or the fecking clutch cable just for the ammount of grief I got during that fiasco. Helping remove the engine from a williams was supprisingly easy only bit I didnt like was forgetting that the only thing holding the subframe in place was the gear linkage. I proceded to unbolt it, hit it with a hammer and get subfame whack me on the head

Erm altenator on the Clio was a bit of a bastard.

As can be the exhaust too.

Infact, most things; even a simple oil change is hard on that car.
