speaking of insurance

I changed my insurance over for my cabby

was gutted when More than , told me my access would be £450, although my premium stayed the same from my old VW TDI passat n reg. when I challenged the guy about the high access he told me that because it was a cabby thats why it was so high, incase i claimed for a ripped hood. so I said a new hood wouldnt cost me £450 and I thought it was wrong. so I dropped my fully comp to 3rd party to get a reduction off premium, as i knoew i wouldnt be claiming even if i ditched my car with a access that high.

recently met a guy with a 05 BMW convertible, asked him what his access was he said £150 arrrrrrrrrr lifes not fair! lol

can i ask other cabby owners what their access is please.

up for renewal soon, so think with 8 years no claim , i will tell more than to take a hike!

Love
Lisa

I insured my 8v Cab with no no-claims, as it is all on my other car. Kept in a garage with a Cat 1 alarm, it cost me £550- ish for fully comp with a £220 excess from RAC, although I hope to reduce that premium considerably next year.
