just bought the ball and chain a PSP. No memory stick, shes away to yank land for sadly a wee while, anyway, am I right that the us sticks will work fine?

Also best way to remove the region setting or change it to all on it?

Why buy US mem cards when you get them here on ebay, roughly £12 incl postage for a 2gb card

as for region changing, first of all why? and second of all in order to do it, you have to install HOMEBREW, which is basicly downgrading the current version of the 'OS' to an older one which will accept 'homebrew OS' and allows hacking of the psp, using games downloaded off the net and run via a memory card etc

You install HOMEBREW by flashing the PSP, get it wrong and the PSP is bricked and forever useless.

to be honest, games and movies etc are so cheap on ebay for the PSP, it's hardly worth risking bricking your PSP.

There is of course another way of watching movies on the PSP, just download them or copy them from your 'bought' DVDs, use a free piece of software which converts them to Mpeg4 which the PSP uses, shove them on the mem card and watch them with the PSPs video player
