Changed the Shocks
Changed the front shocks yesterday. It had Rekord shocks on it which were put on by a slightly dodgy garage; this before I found RR and got the confidence to do it all myself.
Now fitted with original Spax shocks and the difference is amazing. Much better ride. So note to self - don't always go for the cheapest. Checked the springs while it was all apart and they are defo not Reno. Only thing I found on them was a name - HS Design - anyone heard of them? Managed to twist the head of one of the bolts holding the top plate in; tried drilling it out and no luck. So running around with just the one bolt and a bit of wooden dowel in the other hole to check if it's moving. No movement so far but need to change it as soon as I get the part. Hey ho |
