Yes, the club raised the £100 through donations by its members.
We do advertise all year round, we are in club sections of magazines like Performance French Car whom also recently did a feature on the 19 16V and in that feature acknowledged Retro-Renault.
We have flyers (though yes it also needs to be made downloadable) which are distributed by our members who attend the car shows.
Whenever our cars are on display anywhere (FCS, WRS etc) they all have flyers on the windscreens as well as the club stickers)
Flyers are also handed out / put on cars when those of us who have them spot another retro-renault owners car. (I flyered Stephen Dells Alpine in London with a RR flyer, did not know it was his car at the time, Stephen Dell owns and runs the Renault Alpine Owners Club and organises the UK side of Renault Historie & Collection).

Renault, Halfords, GSF, ECP will not have flyers of any kind on their counters, those flyers connect the store to the club and those firms do not and wont be accountable for anything that happens to or through the club because of a flyer picked up off their counter (Yes it really is that petty now because of the SUE anyone for anything attitude this country now has).

Someone else came up with this idea a couple of months back, unaware that we actually have a large cardboard box stuffed to the brim with flyers. If you want a load I'm sure we can post some out, failing that at every meet and show you WILL have a good handful thrust upon you!

I went to see this advert but the magazine was wrapped in a bag and I wasn't going to pay another £4.35 when I'm sure the FCS pullout will be all over the show (I hope!)

Maybe it's also because someone from Halfords has been on here and RSC and has noticed no one has ever got a decent word to say about them, ever! 'Halfrauds' etc.
