decorating - Retro-Renault

i thinking of re-doing my flat its looking old now we been here 2years and since we only spent 90 notes when we done it the first time its held up quite well....... BUT WE WANA CHANGE

BUT to what is the question

i want red bottom and mag top a red border and red carpet

mrs wants.. red bottom red carpet but like apricot or sumat at the top to hide my oily fingerprints

but i no down the road its just gonna look naff..

has anyone got any options? opinions?

i have black leather settee, chairs, desk chair, i have big floor standings speakers in beech my desk is bare wood but could be each looking and all other furniture is getting changed...

I redone my room recently, just stripped it out, painted the whole lot an off-white, and put down dark laminate flooring. about 300 in total but a transformation! looks very tidy.

Strong colours are difficult to get right I think.

i spent ages mixing up a custom colour for my place, literally days spent with tester pots, until it was perfect. Then i went to Wilkos for big cans and it turned out to be an exact match for one of their new colour range! I should have been an interior designer, except i'm not gay

we have in the living room, blue carpet, red walls cream ceiling, just went over what was on the walls befopre, blue caropet was cheap so we got that.

over 2 years now but needs changed.

Still not got carpet in the hall or spare room.

mainly cos I hate the place.
