Guide to Live Timing

Formula1.com's exclusive Live Timing system streams real-time data directly from Formula One Management's Technical Facility at the race track. It displays information supplied to the teams from every session of the Grand Prix weekend:
1. Main timing screen - driver number, name, position, lap times, sector times, number of laps, plus full text commentary during qualifying and the race
2. Weather & Speed screen - ambient and track temperatures, humidity, air pressure, rainfall, wind speed and direction, speed-trap data
3. Lap chart screen - a graphic representation of how each driver is faring over the course of the race

ITV for once have done themselves proud. 2007 was a great year for ITV mainly because they ditched Jim 'monotone' Rosenthal and brought in Steve Rider (knowledgeable silver fox with an actual interest in F1).

I would agree on both counts. Williams should finish 3rd this season and Force India will score points

Ferrari should cruise it though.

Personally i am a fan of rallying and touring cars, yes someone can drive a F1 car around a track at over 150mph but now take a modified road car and hurtle that on a snowy gravely back road in the middle of a forest at over 120mph at night! now that's what i call exciting.

As I posted on RSC. I laugh at all the people taking time to write in and state they don't enjoy F1 (shock, horror). Yes the vast majority of people neither enjoy nor follow the sport - I'm just posting some useful links for anyone that is actually interested.

Am I to start a separate thread specifically so that people can clearly state the fact that they find F1 boring, or that they prefer football? OK I will. Meanwhile - piss off out of my otherwise relevant and topical thread.
