PS is a metric horse, HP is an old school imperial one.

BHP is how many horses a car can snap when they are tied to a lampost. If your car has 100BHP it can break 100 horses in half that are tied to a lampost.

I amuse myself to easily sometimes.

PS would stand for Power Steering, i've worked in the motor trade for nearly 7 years and we've always taken it as that.

oh for god's sake. PS after a number preceded by words such as "power" in a new car spec is going to be the power of the engine in above mentioned format.

if its a fuckin second hand car ad and PS stands on its own with no numbers its gunna be power steering.
