ph1 clio v6 - any good??

Hi all

A friend of mine is thinking of buying one of these, does anyone have any experience with them?

are they any good?

yeah, they're ok. mind out for the useual rot round the rear arches, wear in the steering column as clio's are prone to that.

TBH most are well looked after (compared to 19's) so it shouldn't be too hard to find a good one for about a grand.

not sure mate, chris alsways bangs on about how the clio design as a whole was inferior to the 19's but I never heard of anything between the different phases of clio. (could well be true though)

lol, I think someone thought it was a clio 16v. Tbh I have heard that the ph2 v6 is a much better machine buts thats just what I've read and I don't have any personal experience with them. The V6 is the only mk2 clio I would really consider owning tbh.

I wouldn't go near a v6 clio....so much better on offer for similar price.

What about a st220 mondeo?

Its a V6, can carry stuff, is fast, won't break and a damsight rarer!
