R19 Gtx - Retro-Renault

Hello all, here goes, i finally found a PH1 over here to buy, gotta see what the hype is about, its a fair drive to see it and the lady selling it just knows that it has wheel, its a 1991 PH1 GTX Chamade, One owner from new, 49k Miles, what i want to know is what wes on the GTX model, such as elec mirrors, elec sunroof, colour coded etc etc, anyone know the details of a gtx model?

aw what a drag, all the lady on the phone knew about it is it had an elec sun-roof, i think i should go for it though i really want to see what all you guys are so into the ph1 for, also at that sort of mileage its a definate winner

i can be in the phase 1 gang then, what should i expect from my switch from 2 to 1, where are the major benefits and what are the flaws i should look out for?

Also Very Important: does it have front elec windows? its imperitive that i have them cos when you want to shout at random people friends or otherwise they come in very handy

its all the way in louth chet, have to acquire the money first too, waiting for my cheque to clear but soon as it does i want to go get that beast, im also very excited to see my first ph1, it will truly be a day of ass kick-ness

I think you'll be disappointed with the ph1 in non 16V form lookswise.

It doesn;t rust as much as the ph2 and its quicker like for like.
i assume its the carbed one or is it the ultra rare efi one?

1.7 would be a uk import, if that makes a difference

could be either carbed or injection, if its injection its multipoint volvo engine.

soon as i get it i will post up some random pics, general concensus is that i should though right? still only have a minimum of details, 91 chamade, dark met green, gtx, 40k miles, 1 lady owner, elec sun-roof, i would have asked for more but the lady selling it knows that its a car, that is all

she seems quite fixated on getting 500 euro for her car but i'll try wangle her down a wee bit, hast the nct/mot for another 2 or 3 months too which is always a benefit, so is the 1.7 fast or slow or whats going on there, also how economic is she?

its certainly not fast, but then again a veyron isn't fast either. the space shuttle is fast.

It'll do over a ton twenty which is all that matters
