For JB ....
JB, i remembered you wanted some pic's of a rig, i bet you thought id forgotten, here you go, hope you like
![]() The same leg, about 6 feet above the sea watching the sea swell and trying to keep our feet dry. The swell can often be as high as the crossbeam you see going from one leg to the other, as it has been the last few day's and night's. ![]() Another part of the rig about 20 feet above the sea, this time i did get more than my feet wet by a wave. The rig to the right in the distance is about 3 mile's away.

Roddy! Long time no see/hear!
Nice pics...I dont like deep water so I would hate to be down that leg near that sea...<shudder> I bet the scale of them is hard to perceive just from the pics...would still like to visit one tho...maybe you can arrange a visit Nice one for the pics. Are these oil or gas? North Sea is it? How long you out there for at a time? Does it rock about a lot? Sea sick?

My dad was one of the designers for the North Comorant platform and i still have a jar of the first oil drawn from the platform when it went into service.
