renault model/mini me renaults

I have been looking for some 19 miniature models/diecast cars but all those i have found have either been

a/ tacky
b/ expensive
c/ overseas

or a combination of all 3

I used to make masters of kits and then cast them in resin (mostly scooters and airplanes)

[see STARR MINIATURES http://starr144.0catch.com]

so am going to start a project to make a 1/43 scale kit of the 19s, starting with the ph2 16v hatch (obviously as ref material is close at hand), once the master is done and the moulds made I should be able to make about 50 in total before the mould wears out so they would be a limited edition

I could sell these either as kits or ready made, even custom built to resemble a real one, i have an outlet already to sell from shop and of course there is ebay but they will be offered here first (at an r-r discount obviously) - any interest?????

The genuine Renault models of the Ph2 19 16V are very very good, I have one and so does Neal, they sometimes come up on ebay UK but there are loads of them on Ebay France

Here are a couple of pics, one of my renault 19 16V Hatch (Renault item) and the ph2 cabbie I have by Solidio

the hatch, the paints flake is to large thats the only gripe I can see with it.

I have been on the bay looking at models lately, I am also trying to get some wheels and tyres for my RC car.

Anyway mostly been looking at model trucks cos I quite like trucks these days
