Dialogys suspension diagram

Hi im yet to master the art of installing and using Dialogys

Can any of you kind people who can please let me have any diagrams of the suspension breakdown for the front 19 16v pahse 1 hatch

Im trying to work out where the knocking and steering problem is coming from

Think i have found the problem causing the knocking and the occasional unwanted swerve!!

The gaitor on the steering rack has a massive split and looks empty of any grease.

Wheres the best place and how easy are they to replace? left my haynes at work and if i remember right its not that clear anyway

I kinda suspected that mate! think the best option is to stip the lot down and investigate. Could the strut if that knacked cause it? with the wheel jacked up i can lift the wheel up about an inch then it just stops, it doesnt get harder to lift as i would expect just stops!

Also could the strut top cause the knocking? the veering only seems to happen when i ease of the accelerator????

I have looked at all the rubber bushes and they look altho aged, ok no splits etc
