Motorbike licence

Had a bit of a blow from the army yesterday as they refused to pay for my motorbike thoery test as i wasn't loaded on an Army course for the test. TBH I didn't want the Army to have to pay for the whole licence but if they want to be that tight then I'll make them pay for the lot. lol

I've had to book a CBT for next wednesday though which wasn't that cheap but at least it'll be done and i can start to learn on the raods again as my last CBT ran out some years ago.

Bah who needs a motorbike license. Isn't a car one good enough for you?

the worst bit is emma joined the ta and has her hgv, pcv and motorbike license through the army!

the army harleys they sit the test on are not powerful enough for the full license so she has to wait 2 years till she can go unrestricted. Its currently restricted to 33bhp

yes emma has been a lucky girl as far as free licences go. I can't get a bloody thing at the moment but it looks like the bike licence should be going through. I'm still going to go along with my own CBT and thoery test as i've booked them now and there may still be some delay between now and getting on the bike course.

anyway, I've been searching the internet for cheap (but good and new) gear for my bike. (still need to get one....lol)

So far I've managed to get a pair of new leather bike boots for £30 delivered, A Buffalo Blitz 2 textile armourd bike jacket for £19.99 (inc vat and delivery it was £31) which is a real steal as it's normaly £89 + vat and delivery. (I figured it would be a good investment as i can wear it over my leathers when i get some.)

still need to get some gloves and a decent lid but I think I found one in the form of a scorpion EXO 700 from crackheads for £119 which again is a steel for a 4 star helmet with graphics.
