i'm inside for a bit drinking lots of hot coffee, been outside working on UCC all morning, bloody cold after after a couple of hours under the car lol but taking advantage of the fact its not raining.
Fitting the PAS pipe i got off BB which is mildly harder than taking the old one off. Anyway pipe is on, downpipe bolted back up, just got to do up the 3 remaining bolts that hold the pas pipe in place, put the PAS reservoir back on, put the radiator back in, top up the PAS fluid and bleed the cooling system . .

Well it ready for the cable, when it in stock. Once that fitted I can then move it to do more work, I'm not arsing around moving it on the starter again. I might give it a quick clean. But it will soon gett mudded up again getting in/out. fixing this/that.

Power steering on UCC now fixed!
no leaks, no noises, just turns smooth as you like But since removing the radiator and putting it back in, it's now got a leak refitted everything, fresh charged battery, fired up the car, lovely, bled the cooling system and was about to take it for a spin when i noticed a little drip drip of water coming from underneath, checked i'd done all the hoses up properly and bleed screw was fully tight, and then there it was, a little diribble coming from the fins on the rad, wonderful. Good job i have a few spare rads kicking about, job for tomorrow that as its getting a bit dark now and i'm cold, covered in pas fluid and hungry lol

Been out for dinner, not bad but the vegetables were over fresh (from the field to you plate and not stopping at the oven today) and the mash was instant rubbish. Bit of a con for £13. Bit of a B road blast on the way home and then a quick clean of the dash and mats and a given the lights and wheels a good clean too. Oh and some Wynns Lifter treatment.
