Cool Started restoring my phase 1 1916v.

i have alot of work todo and its not going to be easy as i am disabled from a roofing accident in 1996 and a car crash in 2003.getting help from my children and my bro jay,we have s**t loads todobut it will be worth it.i have a selection of photos of what we have done already and i will update pics as work progresses if anyone interested,if not i will still update pics.Renault 19 16v phase 1 has been stood for bout 6 and a half years and its had water sat on the floors but there is no holes which i was surprised by,the sills expectedly are rotten but not as bad as most modern fords on the roads today, lol. Dont know when photos will be on just got to work out the photobucket.lol.this is my second phase 1,first was a H registered car.the crank went on that one big ends melted due to oil not getting there quick enough so that was stood for a bit then i bought my J registered car which had problems when i bought it,seized caliper on drivers side, malfunctioning abs and oil and piston rings where knackered so it didnt half smoke, reconditioned the block got new rings, had crank machined and got new shells replaced all the oil seals and put engine back together then sorted other problems out and car ran for a while but i was always having temperature problems and finally the head split inside where the sparkplugs sit and so it died and that was 2001.had lots of problems with me cars but you cant beat them because i think renault 19's 16v phase 1's are the dogs dangleysand thats why i have started restoring it again

excellent, great for another phase 1 to be brought back from the brink.

Can't wait to see some photos!
