movies

in the last week or so I have seen 3 films, thats a lot for me.

On DVD

The Mechanik. Dolph Lundgren, omg shite, even worse than you think it could be. Hes some ex seal type mofo who becomes a mechanic in a dodgy town and some drug lord kills his boss in a dodgy drug deal then a shoot out ensues and his wife and son are killed. He goes gets vengence thinkign he kilsl the lord and then its 7 years late rin america. some wummin comes up says here pal yor the dude I need. So he at first says no until he sees its the lord that he thought he killed that kidnapped this bints daughter. So back to russia to save her and get revenge.

Its shit

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale

Jason Statham, ron pearlman, ray liotta and burt reynolds to name a few star in this shite film. Its awful, statham is called farmer and hes, yes a farmer. Some baddies come do in his son and kidnap his wife. He then goes to find them and along the way discovers hes the long lost son of the king and he has to beat hos cousin and then the baddie and save his mrs. Its shit, avouid. Its also really long and shit.

Cinema

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Saw this yesterday. Not the 3d version I add. OMG it was awful. brendan fraser must need th ecash as its his worst yet. Loosely based on the novel, his brother a scientist vanished ten years ago and fraser and his nephew go for a gander with some bint to see what happened to his brother. It goes beyond ridiculous for most of it. Teh ending, lol tries to imply a possible sequel, i very much doubt it.

I watched Jumper last night, what a dissapointing ending and Hayden Christensen's acting is only slightly less wooden and a tad more convincing than it was in Star Wars.
The SFX were great and the girl who played Millie, wonderful but let down by the crap ending and Hayden Christensen.

Last film I watched was The Mist with Tom 'The Punisher' Jane in it.

Low budget horror film but I actually really liked it. Dunno how the ending got past American test audiences though.

Also been watching a lot of spanish language stuff recently

Very good one was 'Rec', sort of Blair witch meets 28 days later. Great stuff.
