Good progress today ;)
Well I had Mick round today... and in the end got a fair bit done in a few short hours, and all without the involvement of an angle grinder!

lol I love the way that you lot seem to 'know better' I always said it would fit I never said it wouldn't also the comparison betwen the lenght of the v6 and the 2 litre, no shit sherlock I said they were the same and my mums cats could have also said the same. The fact is the engines to tall.
You cannot fit the engine and have it drive the front wheels without space framing another subframe in. But carry on it amuses me.

When did I say we knew better? I also never disputed what you said.
Plain fact is I wanted to see the lump in there with my own eyes and make a decision from there. If what I'm doing gives you the impression that your toes have been trodden on (as I largely expected it would) then I apologise; but this is something I've wanted to do for a long time and if you thought a few minutes of running commentary and analysis with a tape meaure on a Thursday night would be enough to make me sweep all the time, money, planning and research under the proverbial carpet then you're mistaken. The fact is, the engine does fit, yes there are problems, but I'm prepared to work round them because it's something I really want to do. Yeah I could put the F7R in it but I'd have to drive it round knowing I gave up at the first obstacle. And I'm glad it amuses you; because I bet you a pound to a pinch of shit I'll be even more amused when it's done and dusted!

A handicap match pitting me and Chris against Stromba would be far more entertaining!
