motorbike test

took a punt and decided to go for my test yesterday as there was a last minute cancelation in Durham. I managed to get 2 2hr lessons in the morning to blow out the cobwebs and took the test at 1437. little nervy and made 4 minor errors but passed non the less.

just need to get Cherie on side with buying me a bike now.

thanks guys.

Chris, get a bike license mate, it makes sense and the plod can't see your face to pull you over all the time. lol

renig, I'm a little unsure what bike to go for at the moment. I was thinking kawazaki zx7r as they can be bought for £1200 - £1500 with low miles and well looked after. although the turning circle is quite tight and tbh I'm thinking if it's worth learning how to ride on a supersport for the first couple of years or maybe getting something like a zzr or blackbird which are more a sports tourer and would be more comfortable to ride. (all depends how much i save and what i fancy on the day i suppose.)

Nice one!
Will be doing my test soon. You got in there just in the nick of time to be fair. Tests are changing next month to include an extra part on a purpose built course with things such as slalom and high speed emergency stops to test bike control. If you dont meet the standard here, the test ends immediately.
Test price is going to go up and number of test centres is going to be greatly reduced.
