MOT Time

And it was the best MOT ive ever had on a car. Was expecting quite a fail which is usual for any car ive had but she only failed on a perrished N/S/F break hose and O/S headlight aim too high and to the right which considering they dont actually belong on the car is great. Im pondering getting myself some braided break lines to save some hassle and improve the breaking on the car. Also queried a clutch change and they say 9hrs to do it, which I believe to be abit high. Better than last years £300+ bill.

9hrs @ around £26 per hour, £234 for labour so around 300 over all. If only I had the courage to do it myself.

I only like proper fun and having all my knuckles intact, I suppose if needed it would make an interesting saturdays work. Could do the rear engine mount while at it. I can live with it anyway.

They failed it on the headlight? nasty people. My place adjusted the lights there and then rather than fail it...and they changed a bulb for me, cable tied up an old spare wheel holder that was loose. Very nice chaps...although the same guys ended my chammy. ah well.

They tried to adjust it but no luck, I cant get it to adjust right either so its more down to the mech being broken I think.
