I spent today cutting down the wilderness of my front garden and built a temp driveway in it

I've been cleaning out the house of one of my Dad's friends who passed away a couple of months ago. Taken a lot longer than we thought - he was a massive hoarder of everything you could imagine - the guy obviously couldn't bear to part with anything "just in case". An efficient way to live your life but a nightmare for those who have to sort it out after you've gone!

Anyways I've got a few good bits out of it, a Skidlid helmet, brand new, will do for trackdays and quarter-miling when I get round to doing it again. I picked up (wait for it) a Renault-emblazoned yellow duster cloth which has gone in the drivers' door pocket of the 19, and probably best of all, I came away with a VERY old set of Monopoly, definitely pre-1960's and it's got the original gameboard, and all the playing pieces, hotels and cards which are unblemished and all present and correct.... must be worth a few quid at a guess!

Aside from that I've been stood in the empty engine bay of a Renault 19 trying to bolt in my PAS steering rack but it turns out I'm missing a few key fixings so I've now got another wait until I can get hold of some bolts from Renault or elsewhere!

All good though, I have some OZ Superleggeras on there way to me from sunny Scotland which are destined for the 19 and I really can't wait, I fancied a set years and years ago but the main factor stopping me back than as a poor student was the cost, I've picked this set up for a very good price (delivery included) and although they need tyres, I've got a perfect set in the garage on a set of BSA alloys which will get moved over in due course!
