Cost of GTT Rubber!

Just been phoning around to get some new rubber on some GTT rims;

best i could get was 60quid a corner! They must be getting scarce?

Not many places that do 185/60 13's or 185/55 13's anymore.
My local tyre place used to have them in stock all the time, but they will only get them on order now.
Had to transfer tyres from my old rims for my last MOT.
Only the old cars like GTT's and XR2's that use those sizes i think.

you can always buy a set of 14's off of some body on this forum 185/55/x14 i think are easier to come buy

lol cheers david but it'll need to be 13s...i want the classic look

BTW has anyone run any of the following profiles as i can get some way cheaper than the usual 185/55 or 195/50 route;


175/50/13 = 50.52 cm diameter - average 50quid,
175/60/13 = 54.02 cm diameter - average 30quid,
185/55/13 = 52.37 cm diameter - average 60quid (if you can find them),
195/50/13 = 52.52 cm diameter - average 60quid (if you can find them),
195/55/13 = 54.47 cm diameter - average 60quid.

15" for comparison;

195/45/15 = 55.65 cm diameter
