Talking need help

anyone know what the white plug is for on the thermosat housing on a f 16 engine, got the engine from a clio and want to put it in my 19. got the 16v wiring loom but can not see a plug that conects there cheers for any help. i have just looked again it is more light gray than white.

if its a square kind of plug it's the coolant temperature sensor which both engines must have

The clio and 19 looms will not be the same as the arrangement of the components is different. however both will have this plug.

its oval in size same shape as the brown one on the housing.there are three plugs on it the square , the oval brown and the oval light gray cheers
