renault 19 16v phase 1
Hi everyone.
I have found and bought a stunningly looked after phase 1 renault 19 16v cabriolet. I contacted the previous one owner and she told me that her late husband worked for renault and that only 25/30 of this model were ever imported by renault as demonstrators as the phase 2 was still in preparation. The phase 1 16v cabriolet was never in production for the uk market she has told me. This I believe makes my car is as rare as rocking horse !!!! can anyone confirm this and are there any of the 25/30 left?? cheers sean |

yeah there's one on here and a few have been on ebay over the last couple of years.
Is yours a white one? Some guy was on here a while back banging on about a phase 1 cabriolet he had and was selling.

Welcome to retro-renault and yes, please bring the car along to some of our meets and shows that we attend.
We have one in Birmingham very soon (see meets and events forum) and then an Ace Cafe meet in December and loads more planned for next year including the World Series by Renault and the French Car Show

End Of Season Party It's a meet at a hotel in Birmingham in a couple of weeks time when we meet up for a drink, chat and a laugh, have a look at each others cars, swap parts and advice and so on. It's the last proper full meet of the year as show season is finished. The club itself is the main place on the net for 19 owners and enthusiasts. If you have a problem with your 19, forget Renault, they won't even know what they're looking at these days with a 19, you'll get your answers and help here.
