19 16v rear discs and catalyst please - Retro-Renault

rear discs need Bosch ABS rings on them and obviously good condition, bearings condition unimportant.

The cat needs to be decent, I'm getting it specifically to pass the MOT.

those discs are for Bendix ABS

and LOL at that cat, looks well ropey!

cats rare in that it has an intact original heatshield still on it. Very rare, chets had it as well.

Right I'm starting to think the only place you can get these discs with the ring already on is renault.

I'm going to take my old ones into work and use a vice, a drift and a big hammer to try and welly the rings off the old ones but i dont hold out much hope for that...

i had one of those heatshields on the black car's cat, was held on by a really long jubilee!

you can get them off.

Heats needed and they warp a bit but they go back on straight enough normally.

Why not just take the fecking bulb out? Most places won't notice.

yeah most that still have it got jubilee cxlippe don, same with the metal one son the downpipe its self, the lower brace normally goes first

one has a chuffing great crack in it from the centre out to the rim, remember?

yeah I recall now. Is the ring decent or flaky looking? flaky ones tend to crack.

new ones are 30 quid.

they look ok, bit of surface corrosion obviously

well, if it cracks, it will come off easy and go back on easy wont it. Bit of retainer, jobs a good 'un
