lol Neal never holds back does he?

I've had enough of traveling south for stuff in the past. I am more looking for something for me to put through the MOT, a restore to road worthyness project if you will. Or something with a ticket, but needs some playing about with. I ain't so much looking for something to jump straight out onto the road with..

I've got enough to be doing with the Mrs 2002 Micra to get it through its ticket for a month or so, whole o/s suspension set up is currently being replaced as her dosy mother when she had it rattled if off the Edinburgh by-pass. Said she braked in the rain and the car spun. Ok, whatever...... Want something to tinker with after that bin of crap is all done and I'm free from the nagging.

If something the right price comes along I'd buy it, but factoring in trips south of the border well.. I cba tbh.

Really... so what do you look for to call a car of that age mint other than spotless paint and panels... no spunk stains on the cloth?

Personally, if the shell is mint I think its worth keeping, like Project Y for example.

IIRC it didn't have 'spotless paint and panels'

as i recall it was badly faded in places and the laquer was cracked and peeling, particularly on the bumpers.

my memory might be failing me, but if it was as 'mint' as you say, I would have looked at it for longer. As it was, I had a quick walk round it and moved on.

not trying to scupper anyone's sale here, just calling it how I find it.
