I will keep it in mind neal, but i would prefer a second hand one as i need to butcher it anyway to mate it to a clio exhaust

im experimenting with the tubular 4-2-1 system from the megane, apparently it flows better than the cast iron 16v manifold, engine seems to tail off after 6800rpm so fancy giving it a try..

Who told you that? The manifold does flow better until it gets to the flexi section - There things get a little "interesting". If it's tubular you're after then try to source a super-sprint unit or use the Williams manifold and keep the standard downpipe.

I used to run one on our 2.0 16v as the engine came from a Megane so naturally kept the manifold setup but you can see a real flat spot in the torque curve with this setup. Nick Hill highly recomended the F7P setup to me though I've not got the car running yet to make a comparison in the power outputs. Andrew Lowe's Clio on RSC is running around the 180bhp area on standard inlet and he uses the F7P setup... can't be that bad.

Yeah i've seen that clio and the irony of it is that is the engine is out of my car as it came from Harlow Motorsport. I've tried like bugerey to buy it back but he won't sell it even in its detuned state. They ran around 270bhp originally but were a little unreliable and they cost around £34k each to build.
