I might have one under the stairs. I'll look at lunch. Would be after £35 + P&P as they are cabby only items.

Have you checked its definately the mech and not your wiring? Someone had screwed one of the fixing screws through my earth cable on both my front doors and they eventually gave up one way because of this (one would go up but not down the other down not up). I 'borrowed' the plug that goes into the window mech from a scrappy and attached my jump start and they work fine both ways so just need to re earth the door looms.

Ive got a problem NS window mechanism on the cabby. Loud clicking from a relay in dash somewhere, going to wire straight up from battery to and go from there. Anyone know where there is a relay for the windows are or another cause of this clicking noise.

defo regulator operating window with door trim off can see that the worm drive is jumping right at the top of its travel causing the clicking noise, plus can move glass forwards and backwards up and down when at the top of it's travel.

My driver's door mech is starting with the clicking relay also. Is it possible to clean and relube the mech if not too worn? I'd though of laying it in a thin bath of diesel and jumping the motor to and fro to help it clear...

Any sound advice would be good.

i would presume that if it's started to jump it's coming up shagged like mine but no harm in trying, you may get a bit more use out of it but cleaning it won't get rid of the wear.

No, the clicking is from the relay as Bigfoot mentioned earlier - the window stops when it happens, so I assume it's some sort of overload filter. I thought a clean and lube might ease the load on the mech. I'll strip the mech out and give it a go...
