Conversion parts needed.

I am going ahead with my 172 conversion and would like to try and get everything built up first so that when i come to do the swap over there will be a bit less to do!

So i need subframe/wishbones/rack/hoses/brcketry/mounts etc etc...
If someone has these parts kicking around then i can buy them off you or if you are willing to lend to me for a couple of months i will have it all for sale again when i do the change over!

Does anyone know if the subframes are all the same on the 19's or would i need a specific 16v one?
And if anyone knows of anything else i may need please let me know.

I'm glad someone has decided to fit an F4R in the 19's bay... about time!

Subframes are all the same so you shouldn't have problems mounting it. What management setup are you going to run the F4R on?

I'm planninmg to use the 172 ecu as i am not yet convinced the engine won't fit as it is!?
If need be i will mod the bonnet as long as it doesn't look bad.I will cross that bridge when i get to it!

That'll be fun then wiring it in! I think the 172 inlet plenum will possibly foul the 19's bonnet though. (If not it'll be damn close)

I'm not worried about the wiring in.To me thats the easy part but as you say that plenum could be a problem but we will see!
