R19 Gearbox Mount

Looking for the gearbox mount on the front of the subframe that can also be used on a clio. The same as the one in this auction Renault LH engine mount fits R19, Clio and Megane on eBay, also, Renault, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-Mar-08 22:27:32 GMT) I have all the brackets etc but just need the rubber mount itself.

It doesn't need to be as new as I'm just going to be using it as an additional mount to all the other ones, though obviously I'm looking for one in as good condition as possible.

If you have one just drop me a PM.

Cheers.

I don't think that to be a great idea. I tried the other way, fitting a clio mount to the 19 and it was too difficult. It is natural for the engine to be able to move anyway, you don't want to restrict it too much.

It should be fine tbh as a lot of clios run the setup with both mounts, and as well as that the clio 172/182 run a mount above the gearbox the same as the mk1 clio (which mines is actually using as its a 172 box) and a mount under the box as on the 19.

I'm only going on the technical advice you gave me when I was trying to do it to the red engine!

well thats because you asked a totally stupid question. I regularly fit the 19 mounts to clios and meganes.

Well you gave me one to try and fit to the clio on your drive one weekend, I couldn't get the engine to sit right to take the second bolt... then you advised against the whole idea anyway. But what they hey..
