on full beam with the 65 watt ones, yes

on main beam with 55 watt, they seem to be just a tad brighter than standard and with a blue tinge to them.

(remember the 19 16v is twin headlight, not sure if the clio 16v is or isn't)

i tried the same sort of bulbs in the rover, hated them! changed them to this....

H7 ABD NEW Xenon Extreme White Quartz Bulbs (pair) :: H7 Bulbs :: Upgrade Xenon Headlight Bulbs :: Autobulbs Direct Ltd - Xenon bulbs, car bulbs, wiper blades, headlight, Osram, Ring, Philips

much better, and i know they are H7 and notH4, but its the type/power thing and i found the blue tint made it lighter

i had them in most of my cars and some are good some are bad just gotta be careful what the wattage is i put some 110 watt bulbs in my old orion and they melted the wiring but it all depends on the quality of the car tbh the alternator needs to have enough juice to power some bulbs i got hid's in the focus i got them from the usa for 99 notes and they are superb, there are some sellers charging 8 quid to 30 for the same thing
