16v Ph1 Chamade in 449 Blue - Breaking.
The time has come, the ren has reached the point where to much is broke to fix and its got no chance of passing an MOT!
Its served me well over the years... its a sad day Im offshore at the mo, returning on the 7th, im planning on scrapping when i get back, give or take a week. Anyone want anything off it? im keeping the passenger seat (making a chair for my living room Last edited by Ewan; 31st October 2007 at 06:26 PM. |

Also interested in location, still trying to get hold of a front bumper and maybe front wings depending on condition.

Kirkcaldy, Fife.
sorry about that, prolly should have mentioned it - bumper and pass wing are in good nick as i recall, driver wing has rust! bonnet is good as well, except a bit of laquer peel on the fold in the middle and spot of rust on the underside of the vent (suspect its the nuts rather than the bonnet) - injectors and rail are spot on, the whole engine/gearbox is fine overall. - also got a dirty K&N induction cone thats gotta be worth a pound! :P -all the lights are sweet except the drivers side headlight which is missing a bolt after an angry exchange with a spanner while i was fitting a new alternator. -bootlid and spoiler are like new! -all the interior bits work, including lovely heater controls! oh, whats an arb and brackets? |

arb is the Anti-Roll Bar. It is connected with two clamps under the car, and two clamps onto the wishbones, and there are rubber bushes around the bar at these 4 clamping points too.
Would you be able to post the throttle cable? |

ARB would have to be very rusty to not work, it's just a solid bar so the surface wouldn't be a problem I think?
Apologies, I didn't mean throttle cable I meant speedometer cable - sorry, tired that day obviously! The speedo cable connects the dashboard (behind the dials) to the gearbox (behind the engine) and it passes through the bulkhead. If it's more trouble than it's worth I understand but I can give you £15 posted. Let me know! |

Any chance of the cable from the gear lever assembly?
It's the cable operated when you lift up the gearstick for reverse. T shaped at the gear lever end, you'd have to get under the car to undo the other end.. |

Its a ph1!
gear lever cable is broke! i pulled of the plastic but underneath and used it without. hehe - you should do the same, much easier to lift it into reverse, but the top stop still stops you doing it by accident. speedo cable looks like a nightmare to get out, but i'll see if the arb look like it'll come out, how much is it worth? |
