the one ive got is slightly diffrent (not remote) but it should be the same its 3 wires to the ignition mine took 15 mins to install and is awesome so much easier than sitting there waiting for it to cool down it comes with instructions anyway but i found it quite easy

just so you know, turbo timers will invalidate your insurance as they are designed to let the engine run once you have parked up to let the turbo cool down, this goes against all insurance policies as do remote starts, because it makes the vehicle easier to steal.

instead of sitting there waiting for the turbo to cool down, just run the car off boost for the last 5 miles or 10 minutes or so before getting home, that's what I do

insurance companies don't like them either, I did a lot of research into this before buying the Evo as of course it has a turbo (mine having a larger than standard lol)

some alarm systems come with the intellistart option built in, turn it on and it invalidates the insurance, keep the intellistart option switched off and the insurance is fine (and yes they can tell if its been activated if they ever need to investigate the car in the case of a claim)

had a g5 solaris clifford on my clio with intelli start submitted to the insurance lowered my premium remote start the car kept it locked and alarmed and if someone broke in set alarm off would kill car running and immobilise and if they broke in with out setting off alarm with 6 proximity sensors (cant be done but if they did as soon as they touch the brake peddle would kill the car instantly.
