Megane Coupe F7R spaires or repair
Hello, selling my megane coupe F7R.
Owned now for about 2 years. Have had alot of the common faults fixed during this time listed below and also some other work completed by myself. Due to a corroded battery tray water leaked and was diagnosed as possible flood damage to the UCH. Renault quoted me £450 + vat all in. Just havn't the time anymore and have a new car now. UCH went 2weeks after having the engine rebuilt so the engine is totaly sound with new gaskets, filters etc. Car has sat idle for 1yr now and needs to go, dnt want to scrap it as its fixable. x2 new key thobs due to immob fault. All wheel nuts replaced. New Front wheel hub Full engine rebuild due to cambelt snap. Head water housing. Lowered front springs Full straight thru exhaust system De-cat New tires all round New discs and pads all round. Angel eye headlights Original speedline 16's (missing center caps) Was my daily drive but also wanted to use for track days, so 75% of the interior has been stripped out including carpets etc. Would love it to be fixed and running again, but also understand that some of the parts are worth salvaging. £500 07528346297 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

When you say "Full engine rebuild due to cambelt snap" Exactly what was carried out? Also do you have any pics/recepts of the rebuild?
Also what mileage is on the car now and what mielage was the "Full Engine Rebuild" carried out? |

No test or tax as its been down for a year now.
When it snapped i was in traffic, so very lucky for me somhow the valves didn't have impact on the pistons. So the head was rebuilt up from that, valves etc all changed, obvisously gaskets changed., All work was done by me and my dad (he's a qualified engineer) so dnt have garage receipts for that but think ive still got parts receipts for it somewhere. Also got renaults diagnosis printout for work needed + its past service history from previous owner/owners. ![]() did have a pic of the pistons which showed they hadn't been effected but can't find it! But this was my daily drive so i can assure you i wouldn't cut any corners. Had mickpm from the renault sport club on the phone alot getting advice from him etc. Milage was 65k at snap, and only had it back running for a few weeks before the UCH gave up. Don't wana sell it, its at my ex girlfriends house in rugby and ive now moved to telford so i can't keep it due to space and no way of getting it here. |
