i know polish work ethics, work skills and their general living qualities.

Also picked up a fair bit of the language to.

They come here and the employers get grants to take tyhem on so they boot the scottish workers out, its beyond a joke

Indeed, but I believe that this has far from played out. There are plenty of lampposts for the 'bankers'.

problem with the banks is you need one... and so they have you over a barrel, you need an account and so they can make you jump through alot of hoops. also bank over here dont charge you for running an account like they do almost everywhere else (my bank worked out that after cost of running the account verses the money earnt from it the average current account earns the bank 26p a year!!!!!!) so they need to recoupe their expnses from loans, mortgages and charges... etc...

The only reason we need a bank is because of legal tender laws.

Assuming there are 25 million taxpayers in the country that's £2000 per TAXPAYER. And where do you suppose this money is coming from?

You may say the banks are somehow 'doing me a favour' by operating my current account, but that's their choice. It's not my choice to have this disaster of a Government give out £50bn for want of any better idea
