The bogs dollocks

brake conversion
pads and discs arrived this morning so i decided to get on with it heres a few pics (also if anyone would like to make an article using the pics feel free)
standard 238mm discs [/IMG]old caliper ![]() wheel removed ![]() caliper removed still connected ![]() disc removed ![]() disc comparison ![]() grooved and vented discs and green stuff pads ![]() 19 16v calipers painted ![]() disc and caliper installed ![]() caliper with green stuff pads ![]() new disc caliper and pads ![]() new disc ![]() entire job cost calipers £45 discs £50 pads £28 other £15 job done this is really worth doing braking has improved by 100% |

Green interestign choice, but quite nice I reckon.

Well they work well for me,
However saying that when they are cold they are bad, you can push the brake as hard as you can and you will come to a leisurely stop, once they are warm then they bite very well. |
