thats what your cambelt does, you can see the belt move, well its a blue backwards and forwards and shows up more at certain rpm's. The belts flap.

The tyres are meant to do that matey. Theres some slippage as you can see and the man describes, they have a lot of grip which is why they wrinkle. If they grip solid the tyre wrinkles up to much and the car starts to shake side to side and nasty things happen.

They have to nail/screw the tyres to the rims too to stop them just spinning on the rim.

who remembers the fwd escort turbos that used to BTCC, they put out so much power the wheels just spun in the tyres
