scrappy today - Retro-Renault

went to the scrappies today for a few bits and bobs.

While I was there I spotted this:

Without doubt the sorriest looking 19 ive ever seen (apart from Schakal's

rear dampers were yellow, probably konis.

drivers door was wedged wide open by the car on top (with another car on top of that), interior was mouldy and manky as fook.

pocketed a skirt trim strip that i need

It died on me on my way to pay my brother for fixing the green one, so its been sitting in a car park outside his house for about 6 months, sorry sight! Not given up yet though!!

Went back today for a few bits n bobs.

This time I braved the interior and found this under the passenger seat:

It's now abundantly clear why the car is in the scrappy

Note 'abs light on at times'. It had Bendix ABS btw.

Also saw this

Nice enough GTSX. Soon ripped the front bumper off for some bits.

I'm amazed it was even taken for an MOT, how could anyone not know a car was that bad?

And one hell of a decline if it passed one 12 mths earlier, probably a female owner..lol.

Yeah, 1 year is a bit of an eye opener. It is amazing how quickly cars can decline when they are neglected though.
