World Series by Renault July 2009

The World Series by Renault will this year be held again at Silverstone on July Sat 4th and Sun 5th 2009.

This is not a Retro Renault event, it is organised by Renault themselves and as part of the weekend they have a historic Renault display area, an area which RR have participated in for the last 3 years
The Renault Alpine Owners Club organise the display area and it is their decision on which cars get to be displayed, not us at Retro Renault.

Last year we had a really good turn out of 19s from this club.

Only classic Renaults or Renault Sport models are eligable, so if you have a 1.4 Clio or a 1.5 DCI Mk2 Megane, then sadly it wont qualify to be in the display area.

An example of cars accepted would be any variant of the Renault 19 16V.

If you are unsure if your car will be accepted, post in this thread with your car details and I will let you know.

Those of us who have been to the past WSRs have all had a great time and hopefully this year will be the same, we also camped out the weekend and attended the Renault H&C Gala night.
Details of the camping and H&C Gala night will be posted as soon as I have details.

For your £10 you will get a parking spot in the display area and 4 free tickets to get yourselves and 3 friends into the event.
A goodie bag of various Renault memorbilia will also be included.

Ok, if you wish your Retro Renault to be present at this years WSR you must download and fill in this form, return it to the address shown on the form and send £10 with it.

the form can be found here (click) which you must download and fill in, return the form with £10 to the address shown for RAOC.

few ph2s being broken at the moment, don't worry too much about the bonett if you can't find one, get the skirts on and spray them if they are the wrong colour, unless you know someone who could spray a bonett cheap
