Hi there,
conversing with baz thismorning between us we hatched a plan of having an r.r social/meet in rosslare harbour, ireland.

so far we're scouting to see if theres interest and how many would be interested in attending.

The proposed location is roughly 35 seconds away from where you would disembark from the boat and is set for the august bank holiday weekend (fri/sat/sun night).

Boats leave from both fishguard (4 hr crossing Car+2 £324) and pembroke (5 hr crossing and shit staff Car+2 Adults £212 Return).

There is a wide variety of accomodation available ranging from camping in my garden (assuming i can rent an industrial strimmer before then) to b&b's to hotels with a few stars im sure. Prices for these range from £24 per person sharing per night (B&B) to £225 Per Person sharing for the three nights (Hotel). I have more detailed info but am too lazy to type it right now but obviously if there is interest I can find out everything considering this village is about two square metres in size and i occupy most of that.

So let us know, stick up a reply and lets see how much interest we get. Obviously the more interest there is the more of a squeeze we can put on people to give us a reduction on everything.

The Ferryport Hotel (£104 P.P.S for 3 nights) BEST VALUE
Quality Hotel Wexford (20 Minute drive, unsure of prices but usually reasonable)

Available B&B's
St Martins (£58 Per Night DBL Room)
Oldcourt (£24 P.P.S Per Night)
Clifford View (€ Nobody was home so i couldnt ask)

Norfolk Line Ferries - Liverpool To Dublin (then 2 hour drive to wex), not confirmed the prices but i understand they are much cheaper than the other crowds

I understand these prices are insanely high but if we can have a confirmed number by the end of june we can approach one of the companies in order to get a group discount

most definitely baz and closer to the time we could enquire about group rates, was thinking JaysBettaHalf the great southern hotel here (aka st helens bay) has quite good creche facilities that said the nippers may not enjoy all the travelling but i can enquire for you if you wish

cool jay, im pretty sure kids go free in the car on the boat but i will double check this, also i'll contact the relative hotels when i get back down to rosslare, just in dublin till the end of the weekend working to fund more renault related purchases
