Baz, thanks. We're on the Isle of Wight. Gonna scrub it down tmrrw and see how bad it really is underneath the water stains. Too damn cold today for any handwashing business. Our first winter in UK for 11 years - Brrr... feeling it I tell you
hhhhmmm, across the stretch of water eh? i dont like that word, "scrub", gives me nightmares

hey Matti car looks great condition, good one. Things to watch on a cabby 19 are:

careful closing to boot as the lid dents if you slam it (above the lock on the flat) and on the bonnet, just drop it from 10" up to close it. Also where the hood cover closes can dent easy (around the flaps that cover the mechanism) I push down on the back head rests to close it.

Enjoy!

everything JR said right there is absolutely spot on, especially the bit about the bonnet, both my cabbys have palm dents in the dead centre front of the bonnet

A pleasure, birds of a feather and all that kind of stuff mate. Looking forward to seeing how your project comes along, take loads of pics and I'll help you do a project report for her, can set you up a photobucket account too if you want.
